Retro Vintage Shoes - Back in the Day!

One of our great vintage loves is retro shoes.  Who doesn't love shoes, right girls?  Well, here we will bring you a variety of vintage shoes for the 50's to the 70's.  Occasionally we may find a pair of shoes that is before the 1950's, but we will be sure to let you know.  We love these kickly little shoes from that time period.  Remember the Candies, those hot sexy retro shoes from the 1970's.  The girl from New York City!  Who went anywhere without their Candies on! You are just going to love our vintage shoes!

Shoe not your size?  But you love those little kicks anyway?  No problem! If you find a pair of cool vintage shoes and you wish you could wear them, but they won't fit, just use them as an added decoration display to your retro room. Yes, decorating with vintage shoes can be a blast! Use an old hat box, layer the bottom with newspaper, cover the newspaper with vintage handkerchiefs, and nestle your size 3 shoes inside for display. Or hang the hat box on a wall, like a frame, place handkerchiefs and vintage heels inside. If you can find one of those clear see through hat boxes, so much the better - place the lid right back on the box!

Always look to the style, the fabric, and the materials used in making the shoes.  Like nails in the bottoms, screws in the plastic heels, and the sewing of the shoe when searching for old shoes.

Ganster shoes made by Bally.  I don't know if these shoes are vintage, but they caught my eye and I couldn't pass this pair up.  Bally has been doing business since 1854. They reminded me of Gansters and the Mob, what can I say. The shoe reads 7 1/2 N, made in Italy.  A number on the bottom says 5718.  I do think they are a child size, or teenagers.  Not an adult shoe. The shoes are in almost mint condition  Soles of the shoes show circular scuff marks.  A night of dancing perhaps? If they are not vintage, they will be soon enough.  These shoes are made to last with style.

Overall great condition, as you can see by the photos. Used for display in our vintage guy room.

The Beatles were on the way in and the twist was on the way out when these shoes made the scene in the 1960's.  Made from man made materials the label says inside the shoe and a size 7.  1 1/2" heel They look brand new.  The wear and tear on the bottom of the shoes is minimal.  There are no scuff marks on the sides. Gorgeous late 50's 60's toe pumps with lush patent leather in the wildest yellow color! Don't you just love the detail of the flowers on top of the shoe, made of the same paten leather!  These shoes rock with the 60's colors inside, the mod orange, yellow, and green circles.

You can see by the nails in the bottom of the yellow shoes show the age of this vintage item as being in 1960's era.  Looks as though they were hardly worn or worn very gently. Shoes this wonderful in such great condition and wearable size are getting harder and harder to find. They would make a fabulous addition to anyone's collection.

If you love the color pink and Flamingo's, then look at what is offered here!  Handpainted beaded pink Flamingo size 9 wide wooden shoes!  I know they are a size 9 wide because they fit me!  Shoes in Mint condition that have never been worn from Beat Feet.   I have seen a few of these on eBay, but don't remember the prices. O, no, this pair of vintage shoes were borrowed by my sister last weekend on 10-10-04 and have yet to be returned.  (I won't hold my breath!)  Finally, she return them and once again, they are back on top the display case where they belong....5-03-06

How hot are these size 3 shoes!? Currently adorning the top of an antique dresser in my home.  Thrift shop finds............. I can't bear to part with them yet, but you will be the first to know.
