Pink Dress Vintage
This lacy sleeveless party dress is just perfect for today's clubs with it's hot candy pink color. This mini dress rocks! The gloves came with the outfit. They are a great match! The shoes also, came with the dress and are a match too! So pretty in pink!

The shoes were 7 med. and came with the outfit.

I just couldn't tell what decade this dress was for sure. 60's, 70's, or 80's. By the look, style, and plastic zipper in the back, I would guess 60's due to the fact that the shoes and gloves were made to match the dress color.

The shoes and gloves are a dead on match to each other and were included with the dress.

Also, the dress was purchases in a lot of 5 other dresses that were definitely 1960's. They all came from the same estate auction.

This dress is worn by our model, who is 5'18" tall, weighs 120, and is a 34c cup. Her "today" size is 4's or 5's Her waist size is 27 1/2".

Isn't it just too cool, what you will find in a thrift shop.  If you are looking for vintage clothes, like the one pictured above, please visit the Funk and Junk shop on Paint Street in Chillicoth, Ohio, or the Little Bit of Everything Shop located in Waverly, Ohio.

I liked both shops so much, that I dedicated a few pages for each of them on my site.  They do not pay me in any way for this.  I just love their thrift stores and since it is my web site and I know how, they have pages!  Ha.
Pretty in Vintage Pink
Remember Ladies, don't ever use wire hangers for vintage clothes.  Even some of the wooded or plastic hangers will cause holes to develop in your vintage dress fabric.  The fabric is delicate to begin with.  Nothing last forever, you know, and most of these outfits have been here for at least 20 years. Hanger will most assuredly poke holes in the material. I use nice thick padded hangers. I often find these hangers at the local thrift shops for next to nothing. They give such nice support and soft cushion for the shoulder areas.  They work great for vintage coats.

Earlier items should never be hung on hangers, no matter how padded.  They are just to delicate, to fragile.  You need to keep these pieces in boxes, if you want them to last. The most exquisite items, if small enough can be frames with museum quality glass and frames, then hung on your walls.  The art work of those timeless pieces can bring an elegance to any room.  Works perfectly for vintage gloves, feathers, bathing suits, camisoles, ect.  Just use your imagination.

Never fold you pieces, always roll them. I like to use clean all cotton or muslin sheets, although a nice piece of linen will do.  Make sure they are in a container that breathes for long storage.

Never use a plastic bag.

Nasty!

Look high and low for these finds.  You never know what is out there or where you will find it.
If you wonder why this dress is not forsale, it is because I am a little worn out on the vintage dress bizz.  I now have a passion for vintage recipes.  That's the way it is with a collector, first one thing, then another.
